3.5t Portable Toilets/Service Driver

Description 

Chantler Recruitment is currently working with a leading supplier of portable toilets, towable welfare units and luxury toilet trailers who are currently looking for a service driver to join their ever-growing team. This is an excellent opportunity which can provide the right candidate to progress within the company to a class 2 driver. A £500 bonus will also be paid after successfully completing the probation period.  

Daily Duties

• Deliver and collect portable toilets – loading and unloading manually.
• Unreel and lift suction hose from vehicle safely and take it to required location. 
• Locating toilets manually into position.
• Clean and service units/welfare cabins to a high standard.
• Carry out minor repairs that may be required whilst on site.
• Keep vehicle tidy and clean – consumable, stock and repair items to be kept up to date in vehicle. 
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Liaise with the office for any queries – must follow non service procedure.
• Maintain a high standard of cleaning.
• Provide an excellent level of customer service.
• Drive safely and always with a duty of care of other road users.

Requirements

• Event/weekend work is available during the yearly event season on a higher hourly rate.
• A full manual driving licence is required for this role.
• Ability to complete each job fully and fulfil days’ work.
• Organisational/routing skills key.
• The ability to take direction is essential
• Smart and tidy appearance.
• Promote a positive image of the business.
•  Strict adherence of companies Health and Safety requirements Ability to understand and provide an essential service, knowing we are not a multi drop service and route completion is paramount.
