Description 

A leading plant & equipment hire company have partnered with Chantler Recruitment to search for an experienced workshop fitter to become a part of their well established team. As part of the highly valued workshop based team, you will be responsible for ensuring that a high percentage of the equipment is available for hire, working closely with the office, warehouse and driving teams. Your main priority will involve fault-finding, maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant and equipment up to 3 ton. 

Key skills

• NVQ LVL 2/3 in construction plant maintenance & repair
• A proven track record of repairing plant and equipment
• A commitment to learn about the business and range of equipment
• The ability to prioritise, work quickly and pay attention to detail
• An organised and methodical approach
• A good level of numeracy and literacy
• A great sense of humour.
