As you work alongside a closely-bonded team of professionals, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service and coordinate service delivery. You work closely with other key teams, such as the workshop, warehouse, and driving teams, to ensure seamless operations and achieve success together. You will be involved in all the following activities:
- Answering the phone and responding to emails/messages
- Dealing with customers at the trade counter
- Helping, giving advice, solving problems, and building relationships
- Processing orders on the computer system and general administration
- Monitoring stock levels and organising equipment transfers from other depots
- Ordering equipment with suppliers and researching new items
- Organising deliveries and collections into driver schedules/runs
Key skills
- A proven track record within the hire industry
- The enthusiasm to learn about the business and range of equipment
- The ability to multitask, working quickly and accurately under pressure
- A good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skill
- A sense of humour
